Great food in a fairly casual environment. One of the best steaks I have ever had.
I liked it

Went to Doe's over the weekend and really enjoyed the experience. The steaks were huge, and cooked perfectly. It wasn't the greatest steak, but I thought it was seasoned really well. It was a little on the expensive side, but I'd go back for sure.
Not gonna go back

Friends were in town and wanted to go there. Ive been before and its definitely not my first choice for a steak in BR. I gotta say I dont think I will ever be back at the place (at least not by choice). The tables look like you are at a picnic at the local park with the worst table cloths known to man. The plates that the steaks are brought out in look like they were bought at the dollar store.
We had the same waiter we had about 6 months ago and he kept getting stuff wrong exactly like last time. I am talking about simple stuff like who gets what drinks and food and simply just forgetting drinks and crap.
I got the ribeye and for $44 the cut of meat does not match up to the price. The bottle of red wine I ordered was cold. Almost like they took it out of the fridge.
The thing is that I really didnt want to go but simply went because good friends were in town. $105 lesson learned.
A bunch of beers at the Bulldog after though was a good recovery
Dinner at Doe's

Had some fried shrimp for appetizer. Shrimp were nice, large, and fresh. Seasoning was minimal.
Salads served with meal were a poor excuse for a salad in general. Would not compare well with salads from outback or lonestar.
Porterhouse steaks were very good, but not exceptional.
Fries with steaks were tasty and dipped well in steak juices.
Green bean side was tasteless and if they didnt come from a can , I would be shocked.
I have to say I was disappointed in general. As good as the steak was, the fact everything else was average to poor in quality really knocks the experience down a few notches.
For the money, I feel there are better options.
