Best of the chicken (Greek/Lebanese BTR)
by Farkwad on 9/9/11
This hole in the wall is packed every day. It is a no frills fantastic lunch and no tip is required as you order at the counter. Get there before noon, it fills up quick! The food is really good and one can eat for just under 10 bucks. The chicken kabob meat is the best in BTR. I usually get the Greek Salad with Chicken and I am telling you now that this chicken is phenomenal! It is not the shredded shwarma, but rather marinated and grilled kabob meat. I tried to find out what they are marinating that chicken in, but lips are tight. Give it a try for a casual lunch and you will like it.
A Little Something for Everyone

Basically a fast-food place with take-out accounting for a lot of their business. Even if you dine in, it will be with plastic utensils.
Portions are quite large and generally one order will feed two people. The daily specials are country-style cooking, i.e., chicken fried steak, red beans and rice, hamburger steak, fried catfish, spaghetti and meatballs. They also offer sandwiches and a few grilled heart-healthy items.
You can't go wrong with the fried catfish which is my usual take-out order. Phone ahead to have your order waiting for you. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find their menu on-line anywhere so you may want to pick up a menu on your first visit.
