The perfect after the club, late night dive. You might not remember your meal but it will be good.
Perfect comfort food for brunch

This is on the must list. Long time staple near LSU in which many hangovers have been cured. Good, soul/comfort food with a unique ambiance of a locally owned business. Drive past the chains and do yourself a favor by finding Louie's for a late night breakfast or mid morning brunch.

Good omelette -get the small. A little pricey for breakfast.

Its one of those places you wish you liked more than you actually do. For many, its has become a tradition to go to Louie's, but it isn't the cleanest place.. But it isn't as bad as a waffle house. Ive heard more people say they love Louie's than not, but personally, its not my favorite.
Terrible Service, Long Waits .... GREAT FOOD.

Good luck getting in on Saturday or Sunday morning or after the bars close late night. Be prepared to deal with a cracked out hippie waitress who hates her life and probably loathes you as well.

But the food is totally worth it. I've eaten at "greasy spoon" restaurants all over America and this one has by far the best eats.

Chocolate chip pancakes, supreme hash browns, any of the omelets ... or my personal favorite the seafood sandwich with a side of cheese covered hash browns.

Breakfast at Louie's has become one of my favorite pre-game day traditions. The omelettes are awesome.
