Ate here for the first time a few weeks ago. Fried oyster poboy was spot on. Service was great. Atmosphere was fun and good. Great lunch spot. Large menu. The eggplant napoleon app is HUGE. Very rich, but tasty. I'll be back to try some other things.
Would recommend and will go back

We went on Saturday evening, party of 8. Got there about 6 and sat right down, even though it was a Jazz Fest weekend.
The corn & crab bisque was very tasty, the fried green tomatoes were good, but I will say the fried crab claws was a smaller portion than I like.
The fried foods were all tasty and fried just right. The Shrimp Magazine was excellent. Everyone was pleased with their entrees.
The blackberry cobbler, bread pudding were both great.
Other than the crab claw appetizer, each dish was more than expected and we took a couple boxes of leftovers.
We all enjoyed our experience and will return again.
Consistently good value

Its far from the best restaurant in the city but the food and service are always good. Great location and atmosphere. I usually go with whatever the nightly special is but I've never had something bad on the regular menu. They also have 20 oz goblets of Abita for $3, a big plus in my book.

Consistently good. Service with a smile. Pleasant atmosphere. Parking not a problem.

Good fish and awesome jambalaya, however don't go there and try to split a check because they will not do that.
