Great value, good food
by supadave3 on 12/24/11
I eat at this place often for lunch as I work within a mile of it. I have tried all of the daily specials and all are quite good.

Two things on the menu that stand out to me are the sandwiches (Tortas) and the burritos. You have your choice of 7-10 meats to chose from, and they load these things up as much as possible. I've tried all of them and the only one that I did'nt care for was the cow tongue. I had to try it at least once, but I will not be ordering that again.

If dining in, you get free chips and salsa, and the salsa is excellent. If eating alone, you can get either of the items above for around $6 or so, and with a drink, you are out the door for less that $10 with a meal big enough to eat twice.

authentic taqueria

Located in a strip center on the corner of Siegen and Cloverland, this taqueria definitely satisfies the craving for authentic Mexican flavors. Light fresh tortilla chips are served with a wonderful homemade tomato salsa. I had the barbacoa and carnitas tacos. Both were excellent, full of meat, served on warm corn tortillas. Be sure to try the guacamole. It is exceptional. I'm going back to try the plate lunches and desserts. Very reasonably priced.
