Really enjoyed our meal here on Feb 25. Booked an early reservation through open table and was seated immediately. Our server was attentive, but not overly so. The apps were the beet salad and the collard green ravioli, the ravioli is a must have if you dine here (you'll thank me later). Our main courses were the mahi mahi and a sous vide preparation of pork loin with foie gras. Both were delicious. I highly recommend Coquette and plan on dining here again. One of the best of many meals we have had in New Orleans.

Went last Saturday night due to reading a couple people suggesting it on here. Took the trolley down because I thought my gf would enjoy it since it was about 8:00 and the sun was setting. Wrong. Still f'n hot. Got off the trolley and the driver asked if we we're going to Commander's(it's a couple blocks down from Commander's) and I told him no going to Coquette. He said, "Commander's", and I said, no, Coquette's. He replied, "aint never heard of that". I said well ok.
Service: Couldn't be better. Waiter and assistant approached the table within a few minutes and had a very good knowledge of the food and wine. I usually pick a couple of items and ask the waiter whats better. They usually know best. So, we ordered a bottle of chardonay and the server kept the glasses half full which was nice because it kept the wine at a good temp.
App - fried gulf shrimp grapefruit, niçoise olives, sambal vinaigrette.
Individually the ingredients were nothing special but the flavors went well together.
They also bring out some pretty good bread.
Entrees - I ordered the scallops which were done perfectly and they were sitting on top of a red potato “risotto”, chorizo, saffron, heirloom tomatoes. Awesome.
My GF got the monkfish(I think) with haricot vert, capers, crabmeat, marcona almonds. Only tasted a small bite and it was very good. She wasn't in the sharing mood.
Overall a very nice dinner. Very fresh ingredients. Very reasonably priced and good service.
They offered a 4 course tasting menu, but GF didn't like all the offerings I thought it looked great especially for $42/person.
I don't give 5 stars very often, but this was a 4.5.
