Only regret: that I hadn't eaten here sooner

Finally tried Hillbilly BBQ after years of my husband's friend insisting on us going. When I go to NOLA, barbecue isn't exactly what I crave (other than bbq shrimp, but that's different). Now, however, maybe barbecue will make an appearance in my NOLA food rotation more often.
What we ordered: chopped pork sandwiches (mine with wheat bread, husband's with white bread, and his friend had a bun), beans, and coleslaw. They grill the bread and it works, plus the wheat bread is actual whole wheat bread (Nature's Own), not the nutritionally deficient molasses infused white bread. The pork was chopped nicely and had a great flavor. There were three sauces on the table: original, sweet, and a hot sauce that comes in a bottle. All three were delicious. The coleslaw was a vinegar-based slaw which I enjoyed as I hate mayo and anything containing mayo, but if you prefer the creamy slaw, this isn't it. The beans: these beans were the best baked beans I have ever had. Perfect texture, perfect balance of tangy and sweet, and perfect amount of meat to flavor them.
It's small and doesn't look like much, and parking is limited, but Hillbilly serves great barbecue.
