Of the 3 Cou-yon's in the BR area, I keep returning to the one in Port Allen. Brisket and chopped beef are incredible.
Take A Minute

I live in New Orleans, but travel to Baton Rouge at least once a week for business and I am always looking for good food which in NOLA comes as second nature. An associate of mine recently told me to try Cou-yons in Port Allen . So last week I took her advice and went over to check them out. Come to find out it was well worth the 10 min drive from Acadian Thwy to the parking lot at Cou-yons. I could smell the smoke from the pit when I got out of my truck; once inside I found the best BBQ between New Orleans and South Texas. the place is run by two brothers one at the counter and the other in the kitchen. I had the 2 meat plate with moist brisket and sausage with the spicy BBQ sauce, it came with 2 sides I chose mac and cheese and rice dressing. Everything was outstanding. I recommend this place to anyone looking for great food in or around Baton Rouge. Thanks guys at Cou-Yons I will see you soon.
